My thoughts have been all over the place the last few days. Grandpa Barber passed away on the 5th of March and while you are sad and going to miss going to Oregon and not having him there to visit I am so happy he is reunited with his wife. I never got to meet Grandma Barber but I look forward to meeting her on the other side. Grandpa Barber was truly one of the sweetest men I have ever met. I didnt get to see him more than a few times when we would go to visit but I will cherish those memories. Shaylee is funny when I told her that he had passed away she said "oh that dear sweet man in the wheelchair?". We had gone and visited last Feburary while Mark was deployed and we stopped and saw both Grandpa's and we had to go and hunt down Grandpa Barber...he was down at the gym with a big grin on this face "pumping iron" as Shelby would say.
It is moments like this that we cherish the knowledge of the eternal plan and that families are forever. I can't wait for the day Mark and I are seeled to our girls. I am so glad that one day I will get to meet Grandma Barber and get to know her but I am so glad that those two love birds are together. Grandpa...we will see you on the other side...we love you!!!!
