Fun with family

I always look forward to the summer cause it means two things:  warm weather and my sister comes and visits.  This year we got to do a couple of movies with all the kids:  Kung fu panda 2 and cars 2 and we got to do dinner at the Mayan Adventure mom and dad and it was so much fun. We were even able to get a smile out of poor little sick Jayson!!!  At the end of the visit instead of blubbering cause I was so sad they were leaving I actually got to leave with them to help Jackie drive home.  For the most part the kids did very well.....that is such a long drive.  And on the way in I got to experience the singing road...loved it!!!!  I am so glad to have such a great relationship with all my siblings and that we are all pretty close epecially where these are the people I will be spending eternity with...Love you guys!!!

Happy Birthday!!!

Well the girls ask me the same thing every year:  "Do we get a birthday party this year" so this year when they didnt ask I figured it was the perfect time to suprise them.  It worked out perfect because all their cousins were here.  Aunt Marrianne came and got them to "help her clean".  Meanwhile we took the rest of the clan down to fat cats and got set up.  Jackie and I had made icecream cupcakes....something I have always wanted to do and they were so cute and  easy.  Then Marrianne and the boys came to "turn in a job application for Jacob"  AND THEN: SuPrIsE!!!!!  They were so happy and excited and then they all got pizza and got to bowl.  I must say we are very fortunate to have all our kids very close to eachother.  The girls love spending time with all their cousins!!!
